Alan Emslie set up ‘Somnambulistic films and music’ to create thought-provoking films with stimulating music.
Alan’s first film, entitled ‘Somnambulistic’, is an exploration of ‘black’ and the way in which light reacts and reflects with it.
It was made as though the viewer is walking through an art gallery, carefully letting the images suggest meaning.
‘Somnambulistic’ was filmed throughout 2023 and 2024 in Scotland, Norway, Iceland and France.
‘Somnambulistic’ will be released in 2025.
The shooting of Alan’s second film, begins in November 2024.
